Accordingly, Mr. Vu Duc Bien - member of the board of directors and general director - will not continue to participate in the board of directors of Vietravel Airlines for the 2022 - 2027 term due to family reasons.
The company elected two new members: Mr. Philipp Rösler - currently chairman of the VinaCapital Ventures international advisory board and Mr. Doan Hai Dang - general director of World Trans Joint Stock Company.
Notably, Mr. Philipp Rösler assumes the role of chairman of the advisory board and independent member of the board of directors for the 2022-2027 term of Vietravel Airlines. He will advise on the airline's strategic direction in expanding international cooperation, acting as a bridge between the airline and investors in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Philipp Rösler , born in 1973, is a former German Vice Chancellor and of Vietnamese origin. He has more than 30 years of experience in the economic field, having held many important positions in large corporations around the world such as Siemens, Deutsche Bahn and Lufthansa.
