Vietnam Young Logistics Talent Competition 2024 honors 6 excellent teams

DNVN - At the final round of the Vietnam Young Logistics Talent Competition 2024 on November 30, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the 6 best teams, demonstrating creativity and in-depth knowledge.

The final round of the 7th Vietnam Young Logistics Talent Competition (VYLT) in 2024 was held in Hanoi with the participation of 16 excellent teams from across the country, marking a journey full of effort and creativity of young people in the field of logistics.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), Honorary President of the Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association (VALOMA), emphasized the key role of logistics in economic development and international integration, and affirmed that the competition is not only a playground for candidates to hone their skills but also an opportunity to prepare for the challenges of the industry in the future.

“Over the past 7 years, VYLT has created a vibrant learning environment, promoted creativity and connected candidates with businesses. This is an important foundation for building high-quality human resources, contributing to bringing the Vietnamese logistics industry to international standards. The competition is not only a launching pad for young talents but also opens up breakthrough ideas, contributing to improving logistics efficiency in Vietnam,” Mr. Hai affirmed.

Associate Professor, Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, expressed her impression of the contestants through each round, from the selection round, semi-finals to the final round. This year's competition recorded creative and enthusiastic solutions from teams from both the North and the South.

In the final round, the teams went through two main parts: the morning was the “Conquer” competition, the afternoon consisted of three intense competitions: “Aspiration,” “Challenge” and “Shine.” Each competition not only required professional knowledge but also tested thinking, creativity and teamwork.

In the final result, team D_LOG (Foreign Economic College) excellently won the Champion title. Two runner-up prizes were awarded to teams LOGTOWIN (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education) and LOGISAYHI (Duy Tan University). Three third prizes were awarded to teams ECO (Can Tho University of Technology), HYPERLOGS (Foreign Trade University), and 23H59 (National Economics University).

Congratulating the winning teams, the Head of the Organizing Committee shared that VYLT 2024 once again affirmed the important role of education and the companionship of businesses in developing high-quality human resources. The Organizing Committee hopes to witness new marks from the young generation in the journey to conquer the pinnacle of the logistics industry.
