The report at the conference stated: Over the past years, under the direct leadership and direction of the Party Committee Standing Committee, the General Department of Logistics; guidance from superior professional agencies, together with the solidarity and unity in overcoming difficulties of cadres at all levels, the Quartermaster Department has effectively implemented the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.

Party committees and commanders at all levels in the Quartermaster Department have proactively proposed policies and measures to effectively implement the Law on Officers in agencies and units to meet the requirements of assigned tasks. They have been proactive in grasping and motivating officers to perform well their tasks at agencies and units; closely following the instructions and policies of superiors to effectively implement policies for active officers and their families.

Colonel Nguyen Vu Thang, Chief of Politics of the Quartermaster Department, presented a report summarizing the implementation of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.

Organize well the propaganda and dissemination of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, raise awareness of the responsibility of the officer team in performing assigned duties and tasks. Build a team of officers in agencies and units of the Quartermaster Department. have reasonable structure and quantity, increasingly high quality; have strong political will , leadership, command, management capacity and good professional expertise, meeting task requirements; absolute trust in the leadership of the Party and the management of the State; peace of mind, determine and complete well all assigned tasks.

The Head of the Quartermaster Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the conference, opinions focused on clarifying the shortcomings and limitations, pointing out difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the Law on Officers such as: Policies, salaries, allowances, military ranks are still low, social housing, and public housing currently do not meet actual needs; the military rank ceiling for officers and the staffing table for some positions are still inadequate and inconsistent; there are not many incentives in attracting high-quality resources for narrowly specialized officers to serve in the Army, especially officers in the military logistics sector...

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung stated: Based on the achieved results, in the coming time, the Party Committee and the Command of the Quartermaster Department will continue to lead and guide agencies and units to well organize the dissemination and education of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army and directives and resolutions, especially new contents on personnel work. Focus on building a contingent of Quartermaster Department officers with sufficient quantity and increasingly high quality, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period and the goals of the Project on organizing the Vietnam People's Army for the period 2021-2030 and the following years. Pay attention to and focus on training and developing the contingent of officers in the spirit of "7 dares" and "3 nos". Regularly pay attention to and care for the life, material and spiritual life of the contingent of officers and policies for the Army's rear.
