Accordingly, Mr. Le Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Resolution, Region II (Department II) was disciplined by being forced to quit his job.
The reason is that Mr. Khanh was determined to have degraded political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and violated the law to the point of having to be prosecuted for criminal liability.
This officer also violated regulations on anti-corruption and negativity, causing very serious consequences, negatively affecting the reputation of the Government Inspectorate.
According to the organizational structure, Department II is a unit under the Government Inspectorate, with the function of assisting the Government Inspector General in performing state management and directly inspecting and resolving complaints and denunciations for localities in Region II, including 18 provinces and centrally-run cities.
18 localities include: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Lam Dong, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan.
In addition, Department II is also responsible for performing the tasks of handling complaints, denunciations and inspections within the assigned scope of responsibility.
Department II is headquartered in Hanoi and has its own seal; the Director is Mr. Nguyen Hong Giang and 3 Deputy Directors, including Mr. Le Quoc Khanh.
