Voters of Song An suggest that local authorities pay attention to developing eco-tourism at the top of An K pass | Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper

(GLO)- On the morning of June 9, the delegation of Gia Lai Provincial People's Council of An Khe town, including Mr. Nguyen Hung Vy - Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Khe town; Le Thi Kieu Hanh - Town Party Committee member, Head of the Department of Education and Training of An Khe town, had a meeting with voters of Song An commune before the 13th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XII, 2021-2026. Also attending the meeting was Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, delegate of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council delegates reported to voters the results of the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth sessions (special sessions) of the 12th Provincial People's Council; the content, program, and time of the 13th session of the 12th Provincial People's Council; reported to voters on the activities of the delegates and of the People's Council of the place where they are delegates; and responded to voters' opinions and recommendations at previous meetings with voters.

In a frank and open spirit, voters had 7 opinions and recommendations related to issues such as: Making cement concrete for rural roads with a road surface of less than 3 m; dredging Hon Co lake dam to develop eco-tourism and reserve water to serve the needs of rice and crop production of the people; paying attention to developing eco-tourism at pine hills, rest stops at the beginning of An Khe pass; people have declared land but have not seen the local government issue red books; changing land use purposes...

In addition, voters also requested that local authorities promptly relocate some graves in front of the An Thuong 3 village cultural house and Mai Xuan Thuong Secondary School; pay attention to resolving issues related to compensation for production land so that people can feel secure in cultivating and developing the economy; and that authorities put up traffic safety warning signs at the beginning of the inter-commune road from National Highway 19 to Provincial Road 669 passing through Song An, Cuu An and Tu An communes.

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of voters, the Provincial People's Council delegates, local authorities and professional agencies explained the issues within their authority. The Provincial People's Council delegates received and synthesized recommendations beyond their authority to report to the relevant agencies for consideration and resolution.
