Can a Bachelor of Chemistry Education with 8.0 IELTS study for a Master's degree in English Language?

With IELTS 8.0, I want to study for a master's degree in English Language to become a university lecturer teaching English.

I am currently a 4th year student, 6 months from graduating from Chemistry Pedagogy. I currently have an IELTS certificate of 8.0. So after graduation, can I transfer to a master's degree in English Language?

If I transfer to study for a master's degree in English Language, with this degree, can I become a university lecturer teaching English at universities? I hope to receive advice and counsel from everyone.
