Nghe An Power Company donated 174 units of blood in response to 'EVN Pink Week'

Responding to the 9th "EVN Pink Week", with the message "Thousand hearts - One heart". On December 9, at the company headquarters, the Trade Union and Youth Union of Nghe An Power Company coordinated with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Nghe An province to organize a voluntary blood donation program.

The program has practical significance towards celebrating the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2023) and the series of activities "Customer Gratitude Month". This is also an annual social security activity, contributing to ensuring the supply to the national blood reserve bank, overcoming the blood shortage at the end of the year.

The 9th “EVN Red Week” at Nghe An Power Company attracted 136 employees to participate, contributing 174 units of blood. With the desire to give drops of red blood to promptly serve the emergency and treatment of patients.

Responding to the call of Vietnam Electricity Group, PC Nghe An employees join hands to help patients have more opportunities to live or prolong their lives with their own precious blood. From these good things, the volunteer spirit of each employee in the Electricity industry is increasingly expanded, love has been spread and the circle of compassion has become wider and wider, that is the journey to make life more meaningful.

Deeply aware of the importance of donating blood to save lives, Mr. Le Thanh Phong - Director of Nam Dan Power Company and his wife, Ms. Ho Thi Hien, working at Hung Nguyen Power Company, are always pioneers in the voluntary blood donation movement. Mr. Phong shared: “Donating blood does not affect health, but also produces new blood to revive the body, helping me to be healthier and feel more optimistic and love life because I have done something meaningful. Having participated in voluntary blood donation 9 times, I will continue to respond to and spread the social security activities of the Electricity industry and encourage my colleagues to participate enthusiastically.”

Donating blood to save lives has become a blood donation festival for officials, workers, civil servants and employees of Nghe An Power Company. This is an annual program in a series of activities of Customer Gratitude Month of Nghe An Power Company.
