On the morning of August 28, Mr. Nguyen Huu Luat - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City - said that the unit had concluded the case of a student who finished grade 9 without records or transcripts and considered recognizing his graduation.
Forgot to do the procedure
Specifically, implementing the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Department of Education and Training, with the support of departments, the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City has recognized the graduation of Dinh Xuan H. (17 years old), residing in Tan Tien Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, a student of Lac Long Quan Secondary School.
Talking to Tuoi Tre Online about the reason why H. does not have a transcript, Mr. Luat said it was because she was autistic and had to repeat a grade in 6th grade.
However, the family wanted H. to continue studying under the integration program but forgot to complete the procedures. After H. finished the program, both the family and the school discovered that she did not have a transcript. After redoing the procedures, H. had a transcript.
Call for help so that my son can receive his diploma
Ms. Nguyen Thi H., living in Buon Ma Thuot City, was happy when the Department of Education and Training issued a decision recognizing her son as a junior high school graduate.
According to Ms. H., at the end of the 2022-2023 school year, the family was surprised to be informed that her child did not have transcripts for grades 7, 8 and 9, so she was not considered for recognition of her junior high school graduation. From there, she filed a petition for help, requesting recognition of H.'s graduation.
Ms. H. confided that many times the authorities responded that there was no basis to recognize her child's graduation, so she intended to give up. However, when she returned home and saw her child sad because her peers were going to school, while she had to stay home alone, she could not accept it.
She continued to appeal to the Ministry of Education and Training. Following the ministry's instructions, H. was given review sessions, took tests, completed her application, and was recognized as a graduate.
“I have applied for my child to study at a college in Dak Lak, so that he can study both culture and vocational training. This morning H. went to school for the first day – he was able to continue going to school,” Mrs. H. said happily.
