DNO - On March 24, the People's Committee of Hai Chau district held a conference to announce the pilot plan for Bach Dang walking street and a conference to review the Enterprise Development project in Hai Chau district for the period 2020-2023, meeting with businesses in early 2024 with the theme "Accompanying and developing".

Accordingly, the pilot space for Bach Dang walking street is on Bach Dang street, extending from the road leading to Tran Thi Ly bridge to the end of APEC Park with a length of 1.2 km and connecting to Nguyen Van Troi bridge.

The activity will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. every day, expected to last from late April 2024 to late 2028.

A lane on the east side of Bach Dang Street is marked with parking lots to accommodate 5 clusters of mobile sales vehicles (3 vehicles each, total 15 vehicles) interspersed with 3 clusters of mobile sales kiosks (4 kiosks each, total 12 kiosks) on the entire sidewalk on the east side of Bach Dang Street.

Along with that, arrange 5 check-in points; build 2 public toilets; community living space, with stone benches on the sidewalk; landscape trash cans and recycling bins; free wifi stations; 4 security camera clusters; decorate with lighting, art and trees...

Bach Dang walking street will host music and art performances; festivals, events, street art activities...

At the conference to review the Enterprise Development Project in Hai Chau District for the period 2020-2023, meeting with enterprises in early 2024 with the theme "Accompanying and developing", Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee Le Tu Gia Thanh affirmed that the policy of supporting and developing enterprises has always been identified by the district as one of the key annual tasks.

The district has proactively researched, proposed and implemented many solutions to support business development and economic development such as: building a project to develop the night economy in the district; piloting Bach Dang walking street; building a model road Le Hong Phong; upgrading specialized streets on Le Thanh Nghi and Huynh Thuc Khang streets; expanding non-cash payment routes; supporting the construction and promotion of OCOP products...

In addition, to attract investment, expand business services for enterprises, attract tourists to visit and shop, the District People's Committee has also focused on investing in completing technical infrastructure; effectively managing and operating APEC Park; investing in building parks, walking gardens...

The application of information technology, digital transformation, and administrative reform in the district has achieved remarkable progress, quickly resolving administrative procedures for businesses, contributing to creating a transparent investment and business environment in the district...
