Announcement of Resolution appointing Deputy Director of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam presented flowers to congratulate Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien

Accordingly, on August 20, 2024, the Council of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology issued Resolution No. 155/NQ-HDHV, appointing Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Director of the CDiT Institute of Information and Communications Technology, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, term 2020-2025.

Prof. Dr. Tu Minh Phuong, Secretary of the Academy Party Committee, Chairman of the Academy Council, presented the decision to Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien.

Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien has worked for 27 years at the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology. It is expected that Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien will be assigned to be in charge of the Academy's science and technology sector. In the action program, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien focuses on 3 groups of issues: Digital transformation of universities; promoting science and technology and innovation; exploiting science and technology applications to solve the problem of improving the quality of university education.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam delivered a speech assigning tasks to Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien and the Board of Directors of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam hoped that Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien and the Academy's Board of Directors would become a factor of unity, gathering talents and knowledge to steadfastly implement the Academy's strategic goals.

At the same time, together with the Academy's Board of Directors, focus on knowledge and intelligence to research and clarify the new orientations of Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW dated August 12, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 4, 2013 of the 11th Party Central Committee "On fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration", proactively propose new tasks and feasible solutions in the updated and supplemented strategy of the Academy, seriously and creatively implement the new orientations of the Politburo for higher education. Thereby, contributing to the cause of training and developing high-quality human resources for the country.
