The report stated: On August 23, 2023, the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control conducted monitoring and collected clean water samples from Hung Vinh, Hung Nguyen, Cau Bach water plants and households in Vinh city and surrounding areas.
Water samples were taken at the above factories belonging to Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company, providing clean water for Vinh city and surrounding areas. Of which, Hung Vinh Water Plant (Cua Nam) uses Lam River water as raw water, with a capacity of 40,000 m3/day and night; Cau Bach Water Plant (Nam Giang Commune - Nam Dan), with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day and night, uses Lam River water as its water source; Hung Nguyen Water Plant (Hung Nguyen Town) uses Dao River water.
The total number of clean water samples taken for quality monitoring testing is 10, including 3 samples at the 3 above mentioned factories and 7 samples at 7 households in Nam Giang commune, Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan), Hung Nguyen town (Hung Nguyen district), Truong Thi ward, Ben Thuy ward, Hung Dung ward and Le Loi ward (Vinh city).
All 10 clean water samples were evaluated according to Local Standard 01:2021/NA, tested at the Center for Disease Control of Nghe An province.
Result: 10/10 clean water samples met QCDP 01:2021/NA.
These are clean water samples from Hung Vinh Water Plant (Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City), Cau Bach Water Plant (Nam Giang - Nam Dan Commune), Hung Nguyen Water Plant (Hung Nguyen Town); clean water samples from households: Le Ba Khanh Thanh (Lien Mau 1 Hamlet, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District), Le Duy Manh (Hamlet 3, Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District), Vo Duc Hung (Block 9, Hung Nguyen Town, Hung Nguyen District), Hua Hong Tu (136 Le Hong Phong, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City), Mr. Tuan's household (Wood Factory Collective Area, Block 11, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City), Nguyen Thi Lien (222 Phong Dinh Cang, Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City) and clean water samples from Lau Bang Coc restaurant (No. 63C Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City).


The Provincial Center for Disease Control and the Nghe An Department of Health recommend that Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company continue to effectively manage clean water quality according to QCDP 01:2021/NA. When there is an incident related to water quality, it must be immediately reported to the local authorities and management agencies, and the incidents must be promptly resolved. Immediately after the incident is resolved, samples must be taken, all parameters must be tested, and the water quality results must be reported in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 41/2028/BYT to the Department of Health and the Department of Construction.
