The Central Youth Union has just announced a list of 99 teachers and lecturers with outstanding achievements in teaching, scientific research and Youth Union work to receive the Central-level "Outstanding Young Teacher" award in 2024.
Among the 99 teachers who won the 4th Central-level “Outstanding Young Teacher” award in 2024, there were 50 young male teachers and 49 young female teachers. In terms of ethnic composition, there were 12 ethnic minority teachers (Tay, Khmer, Nung, Muong, Lao, Hoa, San Chi, Co Tu, Pu Peo).
By teaching level, there are 16 preschool teachers, 18 primary school teachers, 16 secondary school teachers, 18 high school teachers, 1 intermediate teacher, 8 college lecturers, and 22 university lecturers. 90/99 “Outstanding Young Teachers” are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The Central-level “Outstanding Young Teacher” Award is presented annually by the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20, to teachers and lecturers of Vietnamese nationality under the age of 35, who are teaching in schools, educational and training institutions, and vocational training institutions in the national education system.
The 4th Central-level "Outstanding Young Teacher" Award Ceremony in 2024 is scheduled to take place on the evening of November 14 in Hanoi.
