On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), Thanh Hoa Provincial Police organized many activities to pay tribute to the people and soldiers of Dien Bien with deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation.
Burning incense to pay tribute and commemorate heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Temple in Dien Bien Phu battlefield and A1 National Martyrs' Cemetery
In a series of gratitude activities, the working delegation of Thanh Hoa Police offered incense at the Martyrs' Temple on the Dien Bien Phu battlefield and the A1 National Martyrs' Cemetery.
Before the souls of heroes and martyrs, Thanh Hoa Police force vows to strive to study, practice, improve political mettle, professional skills and revolutionary ethics, overcome all difficulties and challenges, excellently complete assigned tasks, contribute to firmly protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety.
Next, the delegation organized political activities at red addresses and historical sites in Dien Bien province such as visiting the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum, General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial Site and Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command Headquarters...
Donated 10 sets of computers to the police of communes and towns of Dien Bien Dong district.
During the trip, the delegation visited and presented 10 sets of computers (worth 70 million VND) to the police of communes and towns of Dien Bien Dong district.
Also on this occasion, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police organized a delegation to offer incense to commemorate hero and martyr To Vinh Dien in Nong Truong commune, Trieu Son district - the person who used his body to block artillery in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; visited and presented gifts to show gratitude to wounded soldier Pham Phuc Vuong, born in 1928 in Cam Giang commune, Cam Thuy district and two frontline firemen Le Thi Cam and Nguyen Thi Dung, both in Dong Cuong ward, Thanh Hoa city.

At the places visited, the delegation inquired about the health and expressed gratitude for the great contributions of wounded soldiers, families of martyrs and frontline workers, and recalled memories of the arduous but glorious and heroic years of fighting of the fathers and brothers who contributed to the Dien Bien Phu victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world".
