Provincial Police: Conference to deploy inspection and supervision work in 2024

On March 5, the Provincial Police Party Committee held a meeting to deploy inspection and supervision (KTGS) work in 2024.

In 2023, the Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Police Department have thoroughly grasped and seriously and effectively implemented the inspection and supervision work according to the issued work program; regulations of the Party Charter, instructions of the Central Committee and of the superior Party Committees. Continue to raise awareness of Party Committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members about the importance and significance of inspection and supervision work; thereby, the implementation process ensures completeness, comprehensiveness, and appropriateness in terms of content and objects, ensuring regular leadership and direction of Party Committees at all levels; the subjects of supervision are increasingly expanded, the quality of inspection goes into depth, linking collective inspection and supervision with the heads and Party Committee members. Thereby, the quality of inspection and supervision has been gradually improved, contributing to improving the capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations; promptly correcting limitations and shortcomings, preventing violations; and at the same time strictly handling violations.

Conference overview.

In 2024, the fourth year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, in order to effectively carry out the work of inspection and supervision and enforce Party discipline in the coming time, the Provincial Public Security Party Committee requires Party committees, Party organizations, Inspection Committees at all levels, especially leaders, to raise awareness and responsibility for inspection and supervision work; continue to review, revise, supplement and perfect the working regulations of Party committees and inspection committees, as well as regulations and procedures on inspection and supervision work and enforce Party discipline, ensuring consistency, strictness and timeliness; proactively grasp the thoughts and situation at the grassroots level to promptly handle and prevent violations; regularly pay attention to and coordinate with Inspection Committees at all levels to promptly direct and orient inspection and supervision work, contributing to the successful implementation of resolutions set forth by Party committees at all levels.

At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Police Party Committee thoroughly grasped Regulation No. 131-QD/TW, dated October 27, 2023 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing corruption and negativity in inspection and supervision work, enforcing party discipline and in inspection and auditing activities and the Plan to implement Regulation No. 131-QD/TW of the Provincial Police Party Committee.
