Ha Nam police inform about the case of a tractor trailer hitting and killing a traffic police major

The provincial police said that at noon on June 14, a working group from the Traffic Police Department of Ha Nam Provincial Police, including Major Luong Thanh Tuan, was on patrol and controlling traffic at Km 122+700 of National Highway 21A (in Thanh Ha commune, Thanh Liem district).

Major Tuan was hit by a tractor trailer with license plate 89C-279.74 and semi-trailer 89R - 018.54 driven by Tran Van Luyen (born in 1980, residing in Tan Hung commune, Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province).

After the strong collision, Major Luong Thanh Tuan was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room, then died at Ha Nam Provincial General Hospital.

At the scene, the car was smashed in the rear and lying across the roadside. The tractor trailer had minor damage to the front.

The police investigation agency is consolidating the case file.

A container truck caused an accident in Ha Nam, killing a traffic police officer. A container truck was traveling on Highway 494 (Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam Province) when it suddenly crashed into a car on the side of the road and hit a traffic police officer who was on duty.
