Vietcap CEO's wife will sell VCI shares
Ms. Truong Nguyen Thien Kim has just sent a notice to the Securities Commission about registering to sell 13.2 million VCI shares of Vietcap Securities Joint Stock Company.
The number of shares Ms. Kim currently holds is more than 22.8 million, equivalent to 5.17% of capital. If the transaction is successful, Ms. Kim will reduce the number of shares held at VCI to more than 9.63 million, or 2.18% of capital.
Selling a large amount of VCI shares, Ms. Kim said the reason was "personal needs". The transaction method will be order matching or negotiation. The transaction time is expected to take place from September 4 to October 3.
According to information from the management report, Ms. Truong Nguyen Thien Kim is the wife of Mr. To Hai - member of the Board of Directors and General Director of VCI.
Mr. To Hai currently owns more than 99.14 million VCI shares, equivalent to 22.44% of the capital of this securities company.
At the end of the session on August 27, each VCI share was priced at VND48,100, a sharp increase from the VND40,400 price range from early August. With this market price, it is expected that Ms. Kim can earn about VND635 billion.
It is known that Ms. Truong Nguyen Thien Kim was born in 1976 and holds many leadership positions in many enterprises such as member of the Board of Directors of Ben Thanh Trading - Service Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phe La Joint Stock Company, member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Katinat Café Joint Stock Company...
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao, Deputy General Director of VCI, also registered to sell 2.8 million VCI shares from July 30 to August 28 for personal use. It is expected that Mr. Bao will reduce his ownership ratio from 0.72% to 0.089% at Vietcap.
Vietcap is a securities company in the top 10 largest brokerage market share of HoSE. The chairwoman of Vietcap is Ms. Nguyen Thanh Phuong. Ms. Phuong holds 3.97% of capital at Vietcap.
SSI chairman's son sells all shares
Mr. Nguyen Duy Linh, son of Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSI Securities - has just reported that he has sold all of his more than 47.11 million shares, equivalent to more than 3.1% of the capital at his father's company.
Specifically, the report said that Mr. Linh sold shares from August 19 to 23 by negotiation. Mr. Linh currently no longer holds any shares at SSI.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung owns more than 11.67 million SSI shares, equivalent to 0.77% of the company's charter capital.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh - Mr. Linh's brother - still holds nearly 3.5 million SSI shares.
At the same time Mr. Linh sold shares, NDH Investment Company Limited (NDH Invest) bought 32 million SSI shares by agreement.
After this deal, NDH Invest increased its stake in SSI from 94.23 million to 126 million (equivalent to 8.35% of capital). The report said that Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung is the chairman of NDH Invest, while Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh is the general director of this company.
Regarding business situation, in the first 6 months of this year, SSI's after-tax profit was more than 1,612 billion VND, an increase of nearly 60% over the same period last year.
