Find stock investment strategies in 2025
In the context of the stock market not having many breakthroughs, Mr. Le Duc Khanh, Director of Analysis of VPS Securities Company, said that investors may not be satisfied with the modest increase of the VN-Index since the beginning of the year.
However, in the past November and December period, especially since the trading session on December 5th exploded with momentum, we can see that the market has confirmed the deepest bottom area of 1,200 - 1,240 points and experienced professional investors have seen an upward trend from now until the end of the year.

In 2025, with trends and catalysts such as GDP prospects, import and export, market upgrading stories, etc., investors can expect the stock market in 2025 to be more positive, not only growing by 10 - 12% but also more positive. Mr. Khanh assessed that right now, investors can focus on buying and accumulating high-quality stocks, priority stocks with positive business results. This is a good time to buy and there are also many opportunities for short-term trading.
However, VPS experts also note that the market will not increase continuously and not be as optimistic as we think, but can increase step by step with adjustment periods. Therefore, flexible trading is necessary.
Flexibility in the short-term and long-term purchase ratio is also the view of professional investment funds. Investors tend to value investing methods, but at some point, we also need to pay attention to stocks with short-term fluctuations. For example, speculative stocks that lead the market (securities), cyclical groups such as chemicals, steel, oil and gas. Or industries that are subject to restructuring, have extraordinary business results and high projections will also have rapid fluctuations.
Sharing the same positive view on the stock market, Mr. Nguyen Viet Duc, Director of Digital Business - VPBank Securities Joint Stock Company (VPBankS) said that VPbankS also has positive beliefs in the stock market in 2025.
“Long-term stock investment is not difficult when filtering out leading companies with good criteria such as ROE above 15%. In the short term, stock investment only has two important factors, the first is policy and the second is market trend,” Mr. Duc shared.
Sharing his views on promising investment sectors in 2025, VPBankS experts placed their hopes on four groups of stocks. The first is the energy and oil and gas sector, which is a defensive and safe sector. Next are the Real Estate, Retail and Banking sectors.

With the recent fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market, young people today are increasing their assets at a rapid rate.
