From July 27 to August 9, more than 800 supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) organized the "Nutrition Festival - Energy for School" with more than 1,000 dairy products, fresh milk, fruit milk drinks, yogurt, fruit yogurt, fruit juice, milk supplements... discounted by 20% or more; fresh products, livestock meat, and seafood are discounted up to 40%.

During the last 3 days of the weekend (July 28 - 30), seafood including oyster meat, basa fish balls, deli fish cakes, fresh basa fillets, sliced snakehead fish, whole headless basa fish, tilapia, mackerel, beef tuna, and mackerel are discounted from 11 - 25%; vegetables and fruits including eggplant, chayote, white radish, Dutch tomatoes, round pumpkin, squash, Vung Tau yellow rice longan, New Zealand Ambrosia apples, New Zealand Dazzle apples are discounted from 22 - 37% in Ho Chi Minh City, the West, the East, and the Central Highlands.
Also in the 3 days from July 28 to 30, all types of pork will be reduced by 20 - 30% including tail bones, bones, rumps, and cutlets at Co.opmart, Co.op Food, and Finelife systems in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, Co.opmart and Co.op Food systems in the Eastern region (except Co.opmart Dong Xoai and Co.opmart Dong Phu) and the Western region will have a 35% reduction for all types of pork including tail bones, bones, rumps, and cutlets.
