Mr. Fabio De Cillis - Director of the Italian Trade Office in Vietnam said that ITA has participated in the Food & Hospitality Hanoi 2025 Exhibition for many years. This exhibition is an opportunity for Italian businesses to introduce and promote their products. With the increase in the number of high-quality products from Italy, ITA hopes that the product prices can be reduced, thereby making Italian products more accessible to all consumers.

Italian businesses not only penetrate the restaurant sector through a network of high-end food importers and distributors, but also aim to distribute products at large shopping centers such as Mega Market, Tops, AEON. These centers have been distributing many high-quality Italian products.

According to Mr. Fabio De Cillis, Vietnam has a unique traditional cuisine. There are many Italian products that can be combined with Vietnamese dishes. Wine is a typical example. Or balsamic vinegar, which can be used in pho instead of lemon in the traditional version.

Italy is a country famous for its cuisine with a long history. Fresh ingredients combined with typical Mediterranean cooking techniques have created Italian dishes with sophisticated flavors, conquering diners around the world.

Vietnam and Italy officially established diplomatic relations on March 23, 1973. Over the past half century, on the basis of a solid friendship, Vietnam and Italy have increasingly become important partners in all fields, cooperating closely both bilaterally and multilaterally. Vietnam is currently Italy's largest trading partner in ASEAN and Italy is Vietnam's third largest EU partner.
