Passionate about traveling, Bong – a female tourist from Korea has made many trips to Thailand, Taiwan (China), and the Philippines. She revealed that she loves exploring countries in Southeast Asia because of the beautiful nature, many experiences and delicious food.
In Vietnam alone, Bong has been to Da Nang 5 times, with the most recent trip being at the end of April.
This time, she visited Son Tra Peninsula and spent time exploring some beautiful cafes here. She shared that she really likes the taste of Vietnamese coffee so she maintains the habit of drinking 2 cups a day whenever she travels here.
In addition, the Korean female customer also went to the Korean market and experienced the "lightning-fast" costume tailoring service, receiving it within 30 minutes.
Bong said that one of the reasons she travels to Da Nang many times without getting bored is the delicious food and affordable prices.
On this trip, in addition to choosing famous restaurants with good reviews on Google, she also found places to eat according to her preferences, sometimes restaurants that were new to even the locals.
Some of the dishes she enjoyed in Da Nang include: Nem lui, pho bo, bun cha Ha Noi, banh mi Phuong. The female tourist also went to a restaurant on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District to experience seafood dishes such as: Grilled scallops, shrimp with butter sauce.
Among the dishes, she likes grilled spring rolls the most and admits that she misses the taste of this specialty dish. “The spring rolls are wrapped with ingredients and dipped in a rich sweet and sour fish sauce. The spring rolls are rich and fatty, while the fried spring rolls are crispy and delicious,” Bong described.
In addition, the female tourist also revealed that she loves eating mangoes, so every time she goes to Da Nang, she looks for and enjoys delicious dishes made from this fruit.
Since she came here in the summer, she preferred to choose refreshing drinks or "cooling" desserts made from mango, such as bingsu (shaved ice cream covered with fruit, whipped cream or jelly).
“At first I found the mango taste quite strong but I got used to it. Ripe mangoes are really delicious,” she commented.
After 3 days of experience in Da Nang, Bong was very satisfied. According to the female tourist, Da Nang deserves to be called a “livable city” because the cost of living and shopping are affordable, the food and prices are diverse, from high-end to affordable. In addition, the scenery here is very beautiful and the people are friendly and enthusiastic.
She said she has never encountered any "price gouging" in Da Nang and is quite comfortable bargaining with people.
“I understand why Da Nang has become a favorite tourist destination for Korean tourists. The local restaurants I visited were also crowded with foreign tourists.
The trip was really interesting, as if it was my first time in this city,” she shared her feelings after the trip.
Leaving Da Nang, Bong also spent time exploring Hoi An because the distance between the two locations is not too far. She was impressed with the old town because of its idyllic scenery, imbued with the countryside. This place also has many delicious specialties and the people are warm and sincere.
