(NADS) - On January 27-28, 2024, at La Êê Border Guard Station (La Êê commune, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province), Da Nang Photography Club organized a photo exhibition "Pride of the Fatherland's Borders".
The exhibition is part of the program "Border Tet - Warming the hearts of the villagers" organized by the Border Guard Command of Quang Nam province on the occasion of welcoming the traditional Tet Giap Thin - 2024 for the people of La Ee and Cho Chun communes of Nam Giang district.

It is known that in recent years, the Border Guard of Quang Nam province has implemented many movements, campaigns, and practical programs to bring joy, laughter, and peace to the people in the border areas of the province. In particular, the program "Spring Border Guard - Warming the hearts of the villagers" is a place where the quintessence, rich cultural identity, majestic nature and people converge in harmony, creating a complete picture of the Spring festivals.
Speaking at the opening of the program, Colonel Hoang Van Man, Political Commissar of the Quang Nam Provincial Border Guard Command, sent New Year greetings to the people and said: In the Spring of Giap Thin - 2024, with the consensus of the local government, the Provincial Border Guard Command brought the program to the people of La Êê and Cho Chun communes. This is an opportunity for the Provincial Border Guard and benefactors, volunteers and local authorities to share the difficulties of the people in the border areas, adding more spring flavor to the border. The program is a festival with joy and happiness, a journey of Border Guard soldiers and accompanying units to the border during each Tet holiday, a journey from the heart to faith and also a message from the hearts of the lowlands to those who are day and night defending the fence of the Fatherland.
Through contributions and joint efforts of many organizations, units and individuals such as Hoi An Memory Island, Green Journey Fund, Green Volunteer Group, Da Nang Friends Volunteer Group, Hoi An City Bright Volunteer Group, Truong Hai THILOGI International Transport and Logistics Company, etc., the program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" has given nearly 600 gifts worth 300 million VND, 5 solar energy lighting projects, 15 models of breeding cows and many other meaningful gifts to wish the Party Committee, local authorities, agencies and units located in the border area a happy new year and to help families with preferential policies and poor households reduce difficulties, have more prosperous Tet meals, children welcome Spring more joyfully, and join Border Guard officers and soldiers to firmly protect the national sovereignty and border security.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province emphasized: “This program does not simply stop at providing practical support to households that are still facing many difficulties, but it has brought much more, the people and comrades have done something bigger than smiles, that is: The solidarity between the army and the people, the solidarity between the Party committees and authorities at all levels, the departments, branches, unions and the Border Guard has become stronger from handshakes to eyes looking in the same direction. I am very moved to witness the activities in the program, hoping that this spirit will be concretized in programs and actions in the coming time. I also hope that the army and the people's solidarity today will last forever and be demonstrated in reality by the determination and unanimity to firmly protect the sovereignty and security of the national border, building our border area to be stronger and more developed”.
Participating in the program, the Danang Photography Club (consisting of 14 members) organized an exhibition of current affairs and art photos on activities to protect national sovereignty and border security on the two land border lines and the coast and islands; at the same time, organized compositions and recorded diverse and rich activities taking place in this program.
After viewing the exhibition, Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam Province, on behalf of the leaders of Quang Nam Province, highly appreciated the meaningful work of this exhibition. The Da Nang Photography Club, through the images displayed at the exhibition, helped the people and officials, civil servants of agencies and departments better understand the contributions and sacrifices of the Border Guard, Police, Navy, Coast Guard... in the process of performing the task of protecting the territorial integrity and seas of the Fatherland, protecting the peaceful and happy life of the people. He hopes that the team of artists - including photographers of the Da Nang Photography Club - will continue to accompany and promptly reflect vividly the activities of economic, cultural and social development, strengthening national defense and security, contributing to the Party Committee and people of Quang Nam Province to successfully carry out the tasks in 2024 and the following years.
