CAHN Club officially appointed coach Mano Polking to replace "broker" Tien Dai

On the evening of May 23, CAHN Club announced the appointment of coach Mano Polking to lead the team. In the last 2 rounds, the reigning V-League champion has suffered consecutive defeats after parting ways with coach Kiatisuk and appointing Tran Tien Dai as interim coach.

"Recently, CAHN Club has been negotiating with Coach Mano Polking to quickly regain stability on the coaching bench. After a period of negotiation, the two sides reached an agreement and officially signed a contract on the evening of May 23 at the team's office. The contract between CAHN Club and Coach Polking has a minimum term of 2 years" - The team's homepage shared.

Coach Mano Polking is the 6th coach to sit in the "hot seat" of CAHN Club in the past 2 years after Paulo Foiani, Flavio Cruz, Gong Oh Kyun, Kiatisuk and Tran Tien Dai.

This is the second time in his career that Coach Mano Polking has worked in Vietnam. In the past, he led Ho Chi Minh City Club in the 2020-2021 period.

Before returning to Vietnam, coach Mano Polking led the Thai national team to win the AFF Cup 2020 and 2022 but was fired after a series of poor results at the end of 2023.

However, due to needing time to arrange work and family, Coach Polking cannot lead CAHN Club in the match against The Cong Viettel Club in the upcoming round 21 of V-League 2023/24.

The coach born in 1976 will officially debut with fans during CAHN Club's away match against Ha Tinh in round 22 of V-League 2023/24. Currently, CAHN Club is ranked 4th on the rankings with 31 points and 8 points behind the top position of Nam Dinh.
