On March 1, Military Hospital 175 signed a cooperation agreement with City Children's Hospital on transferring the construction and implementation of a work performance index (KPI) system.
Accordingly, in the first phase, Military Hospital 175 and City Children's Hospital will focus on cooperating to implement training to introduce the meaning of the KPI system in hospital management and operation and how to build hospital, department, office, staff and employee goals. At the same time, City Children's Hospital will advise Military Hospital 175 on the following contents: Building monthly, quarterly and annual planning goals based on the actual situation; selecting appropriate indicators; planning to deploy and implement KPIs throughout the hospital; monitoring, evaluating and supervising KPI implementation and summarizing, improving, and consulting on planning for the next period.
According to Major General, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet, Party Secretary and Director of Military Hospital 175, “With the vision of becoming a multi-functional, specialized, modern military medical complex on par with the region and the world, the implementation of the KPI system is very important. The hospital has many advantages in terms of facilities, modern equipment, a number of strongly developed specialties, dynamic staff, and compliance with military discipline. The hospital also cooperates well within and outside the military and international health systems. When implementing the KPI system, the hospital will improve management efficiency and optimize operations. At the same time, it will build a team of highly qualified staff to meet mission requirements.”
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Quang Dinh - Director of the City Children's Hospital highly appreciated the Military Hospital 175 as the strategic general hospital of the southern end of the Army that has established a solid position next to other hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City. Implementing the KPI system well helps the hospital manage effectively and coordinate harmoniously between the military and civilians in the working environment. At the same time, providing comprehensive and optimal care in a professional military medical environment at reasonable costs.
