- I think the Vietnamese team is much stronger than the Philippines from the past to the present. In my opinion, the goal of defeating the Philippines in both the home and away matches is the goal that the Vietnamese team must achieve if we want to qualify for the World Cup finals.

I also believe that the Vietnamese team under Coach Troussier will play more diversely than we did under Coach Park Hang Seo. Mr. Troussier is a coach with class and courage. He accepts the undesirable results in friendly matches, in order to find diversity for the Vietnamese team.

A team that wants to go far in the World Cup qualifiers needs such diversity and flexibility. We need to be able to adapt to many different types of opponents, playing differently when playing against strong teams and differently when playing against weaker teams.
