(QBĐT) - In the context of difficulties in enrollment of universities and colleges, Quang Binh Medical College has made efforts to implement many solutions to affirm the quality of training, attract students, and maintain operational efficiency. One of the important solutions to improve the quality of teaching, meeting the requirements in the new development stage is to focus on digital transformation (DTS) with specific and practical contents and tasks.
After 3 years of implementing the decisions and plans of the Central and the province on digital transformation, with timely participation, the Provincial Medical College has effectively applied digital transformation in vocational education. The operation of the school has been very favorable. The management of documents, scientific work records; medical examination and treatment activities at the school clinic are carried out through the VNPTHIS medical examination management software system.
In particular, the introduction of training management software and upgrading of test bank storage and test creation software have had a positive impact on teaching quality, an important factor for the school to affirm its "brand", contributing to improving the quality of local human resources.

Teacher Hoang Dai Tho, in charge of the school's digital transformation management, said: In the 2023-2024 school year, from the digital transformation investment source, the school will put training management software into use. The software has digitized training records; student records; arranged timetables; taken attendance, updated learning results... Students are given accounts to look up scores, grasp information so that they can promptly respond to lecturers and the school on related issues. Putting the software into use has increased storage capacity, reduced the effort of staff and lecturers, and created effective interaction between the school, lecturers and students.
Previously, Quang Binh Medical College had applied and upgraded the software for storing exam question banks and creating exam questions, which was a big step forward in the school's operations. Accordingly, through the server system, in preparation for exams, exam questions were randomly drawn from the bank by exam staff based on the exam plan. Some multiple-choice exams were conducted on computers, each student would have a different exam and after completing the exam, they would immediately have their score instead of having to wait for the lecturer to grade the test as before.

The software for storing exam questions and creating exam questions has eliminated the manual method of making exam questions with many benefits, such as: Reducing the effort and time of staff and lecturers; increasing accuracy, objectivity, transparency; avoiding the situation of "learning by heart", improving students' learning awareness, positively affecting the quality of training... As one of the leading units in applying this software, Quang Binh Medical College is also the address for some units to "borrow" the school's system to organize competitions to ensure objectivity, fairness, science and the most accurate results when along with the exam score, the exam completion time is displayed on the software.

The fully public exam bank helps students be self-aware and proactive in their studies to be more confident before each exam and achieve real results, creating job opportunities after graduation”, said student Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, K2 Nursing College.
The efforts of Quang Binh Medical College in teaching in general, and applying digital transformation in particular, have contributed significantly to affirming the school's "brand". All classrooms are invested with projectors, internet, and computer practice rooms to ensure the study of computer science and organize online tests and exams through online testing software. In the coming time, the school will continue to upgrade software, increase the application of digital transformation in teaching and management to continuously improve the quality of training, attract a large number of students, and meet the demand for human resources in the new period.
