(GLO)- On the evening of June 9, at the Pleiku City Youth Cultural House, the Provincial Police coordinated with the Dam San Music and Dance Theater to organize a special art performance program to serve the people in Pleiku City to celebrate the traditional days of 2023.

The program opened with a performance by the Provincial Police with 5 acts, including: Traditional musical instrument ensemble “Peaceful Village” (composed by Major General, Doctor Rah Lan Lam, Director of the Provincial Police); Male choir “Go Down to the Hut Quickly, My Dear” (Jrai folk song - translated by the late musician Nhat Lai); Independent dance “Resurrection” (choreographer Bich Nguyet); Male trio “Homeland Song” (composed by the late People's Artist Y Moan); Singing and dancing “Gia Lai Police Follow Uncle Ho's Words” (composed by Musician Le Xuan Hoan). The Dam San Music and Dance Theater performed artistic performances, including: “Gong Soul” dance; Male choir “Keeping the Oath”; duet “Silent Happiness”; singing and dancing “Uncle Ho's Grace to the Central Highlands”.
Each performance has a strong Central Highlands identity and tone, expressing love for the homeland; the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Forces; praising the brave and humane People's Public Security soldiers, for the peaceful villages, "Forgetting themselves for the country, serving the people". In particular, with a graceful and lively choreography; attractive music and images, the dance performance "Resurrection" moved the audience when it reenacted the rescue of a child trapped in a concrete pillar.
Specifically, the performance was inspired by the rescue incident that took place on March 20, 2020 by officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Provincial Police. After more than 2 hours of urgent work, the unit successfully rescued Puih Phong (7 years old, residing in Blang 1 village, Ia Der commune, Ia Grai district) who was trapped in an abandoned hollow electric pole about 2 meters deep while playing with friends in Kláh 1 village (Ia Der commune). In addition, other performances at the program were performed and staged elaborately and grandly, impressing and leaving many emotions for the audience.
With rich and diverse content and forms of expression, the lyrics, singing and artistic images have reflected the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldiers, vividly expressing the close relationship between the People's Public Security forces and the local people. The art troupes of the two units have carefully prepared the content and layout, bringing attractive performances, attracting a large number of local audiences.
At the end of the performance, the Provincial Police Director awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in the 12th People's Public Art Festival of the People's Public Security Forces - 2023 in Nghe An. Specifically, the Gia Lai Provincial Public Security Public Art Troupe was awarded the B prize by the Organizing Committee for the whole group; the traditional musical instrument ensemble "Binh yen buon lang" won the A prize and a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Public Security. 2 male group performances: "Xuong choi mau di em" and male trio "Bai ca que huong" won the B prize. The independent dance performance "Hoi sinh" won the C prize and the prize for quality self-composed performance on the theme of the People's Public Security.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Six Teachings for the People's Public Security (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2023); the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023); the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2023), the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023); National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023). Thereby, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldier "Bravery, humanity, serving the people". This is also a creative form to mobilize people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security", and build a new cultural life.
