Hot answers from the Ministry of Education and Training
In 2025, there will be many changes in the high school graduation exam and university admission to match the new general education program. While the Ministry of Education and Training has not yet officially announced the university admission regulations for 2025, many students and parents have many concerns and questions.
In the Tuoi Tre Newspaper's Admissions and Career Guidance Program, teachers from major universities will provide the most accurate information related to admissions and admissions at universities.
In particular, with the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, they will directly answer "hot" questions related to the revised admission regulations such as eliminating early admission, adding priority points, admission subject combinations... At the same time, they will update the latest official changes to the regulations, thereby helping candidates to have the best preparation for the upcoming university admission season.
Career experts will also provide information and detailed advice in the first consultation sessions about which majors are easy to find jobs in, have high salaries, etc., and help guide career choices and future human resource needs.
Each teacher in the advisory board - an expert in each field - will meet directly with students, helping them understand clearly the career and school they are wondering about before this year's admissions.
In addition, the arrangement of consulting booths of universities, colleges and secondary schools in the program last year attracted great attention from students. This year, all consulting sessions have consulting booths of schools with a strong consulting force, meeting the needs of young people to learn about career information.
Candidates will have the opportunity to access information about universities, colleges, and secondary schools at the schools' consulting booths. This is also an opportunity for schools to introduce their training environment, providing candidates with necessary information about the school's enrollment...
7 new points in the admission regulations
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) - has just said that in the revised university admission regulations that will be issued soon, there are 7 important new points:
1. Completely eliminate early admission (only direct admission according to regulations).
2. If using high school academic results (report cards) for admission, the results of the entire 12th grade year must be used.
3. Training institutions need to convert equivalent admission scores between admission methods and admission subject combinations.
4. Schools can convert the results of foreign language certificates (according to the list of high school graduation exam regulations) into foreign language scores for admission consideration.
5. Each candidate's priority bonus points do not exceed 10% of the maximum score (this bonus point is after adding regional priority points and subject priority points), and at the same time, the candidate's total consideration score does not exceed the maximum score.
6. Remove the requirement that each training program/major has a maximum of 4 admission combinations.
7. From 2026: common subjects between admission groups account for at least 50% of the admission score.

How to study to have a job right after graduation?...
