The program "Resilient Vietnam" is organized with the desire to use art to arouse benevolent hearts, noble gestures from companions, benefactors, artists and especially the kind hearts of the audience, thereby contributing with the Party and State to quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, and restore people's lives.
The art program "Joining hands for our compatriots in flood-hit areas" with the theme "Resilient Vietnam" began with chapter 1 titled "Love Vietnam so much". Chapter 1 opened with the song "Motherland", composed by Tran Manh Hung, performed by Anh Tho; followed by the song "Lovely Lao Cai", composed by Ha Muoi, performed by Viet Hoan.
Feeling moved when listening to the songs about beloved Lao Cai, all the audiences were even more heartbroken when watching the tragic images of Lang Nu village (Lao Cai) buried by flash floods, the anxious faces running away from the flood, and the sharing of people's losses after being devastated by storm Yagi through the reportage "Stormy Days".
Next, the program returned with the art performance "Khoang troi cua be", composed by Nguyen Duy Hung; choreographed by Uyen Chi, Tran Linh; performed by Thu Thuy, Minh Quan; Lavender dance group, Sao Tuoi Tho Club. The poem "The class is half empty" by author Duong Ha; choreographed by Uyen Chi, performed by Lavender dance group and Sao Tuoi Tho Club brought many emotions to the audience when watching the documentary film about the teachers at Phuc Khanh Kindergarten No. 1, Lang Nu, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai.
Chapter 2, titled "Vietnam in Unity", continues to bring the audience many emotions when updating information and images showing the tradition of "mutual love and support" and the spirit of "sharing food and clothes" of compatriots and people across the country towards localities in the North.
Chapter 3: "Vietnam - Steadfast and steady" took place with the performances: "Vietnam in me"; "Heart beat"... to affirm the pride of the Vietnamese people with the tradition of solidarity and courage to overcome the most difficult times.
Director Mai Thanh Tung - General Director of the program emotionally shared: "Witnessing the heavy damage left by storm No. 3, my colleagues and I immediately came up with the idea of an art program, not only to sympathize with the audience but also to call for the cooperation of kind-hearted people to help our compatriots overcome difficulties. Fortunately, we received extremely enthusiastic support. The entire crew and participating artists did not receive any remuneration, with the desire to send through art a message of love and sharing with our compatriots in the flood areas, together overcoming the losses, giving everyone more strength during this difficult period".
The art program "Joining hands for people in flood-hit areas" with the theme "Resilient Vietnam" has contributed to multiplying the noble gestures from companions, artists and especially kind-hearted people.
At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received support from benefactors with a total value of 2.85 billion VND. All the money donated through the program will be transferred to localities affected by storms and floods through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front./.
