Series of art events towards Hanoi autumn

A series of art events honoring the quintessence of Vietnamese culture called “Beauty No. 2: Culture” including the painting exhibition “Thang Long’s Autumn Roses”, the flower arrangement exhibition “Hanoi’s Autumn Flowers Past and Present”, and discussions on literature and art… will begin at 34 Chau Long (Ba Dinh, Hanoi) from October 1.

This is a continuation of a series of sustainable cultural and artistic activities organized by art collector Thuy Anh over the years to spread the space and values ​​of Vietnamese culture and people through exhibitions and discussions on fine arts, culture, literature, etc.

“Dep so 2: Van hoa” is organized as a series of events taking place from October 1 to 5, at the art space 34 Chau Long. In particular, the exhibition “Thang Long Autumn Rose” introduces a collection of 18 paintings of dragons, roses, and Hanoi autumn by collector Thuy Anh. These are all works by beloved contemporary artists such as Pham An Hai, Nguyen Van Duc, Hai Kien, Binh Nhi, Lam Duc Manh, Le Huu Dung, Nguyen Minh, Tran Cuong... Along with that are activities such as the exhibition of flower arrangements with the theme “Autumn Flowers of Hanoi Past and Present” including works from flowers of Hanoi autumn; introducing and exchanging about the quintessence of Hanoi cuisine with artisan and journalist Vu Thi Tuyet Nhung... In particular, collector Thuy Anh also organizes events of art discussions and meetings with outstanding artists. That is the talk show "The quintessence of contemporary fine arts, honoring and spreading" (October 1) with the participation of painter Pham An Hai, painter Cong Quoc Ha, musician Nguyen Vinh Tien, journalist - poet - painter Nhu Binh, painter Nguyen Van Duc, painter Pham Ha Hai, flower arranger Kim Anh Ngo... At the talk show, experts and artists discussed the role and significance of the new exhibition style of collectors in promoting, spreading, and elevating Vietnamese fine arts in general and Vietnamese contemporary paintings in particular; discussed world and domestic contemporary fine arts from an expert's perspective; the values ​​of inheritance and promotion... On October 3, there was a talk show with the theme "Literature - Literature and poetry past and present" with the participation of writers, poets, artists, researchers, literary critics such as poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Association; Associate Professor, PhD, literary critic Van Gia; poets Huu Viet, Tran Dang Khoa, Phan Thi Thanh Nhan... Another event held on October 4 was a meeting with the theme "Song of Flowers" with the participation of many famous musicians and singers who are passionate about social and community activities.
