Speaking at a press conference introducing this series of key programs held on the afternoon of December 16, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television Do Thanh Hai emphasized that from the beginning of 2024, VTV has developed a master plan to implement propaganda activities for key events of the year, including the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army. Propaganda content is diversified across all channels, digital platforms and press products of the station.
The Organizing Committee informs about the series of key programs celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army of VTV.
According to Mr. Do Thanh Hai, through the programs and works produced, the team of reporters and editors of Vietnam Television wishes to express their respect and gratitude to the generations of soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army who have contributed to the glorious history of the country. In addition, this is an opportunity to convey the spiritual values and indomitable will of the Vietnam People's Army to the younger generation, spreading patriotism, national pride, and the aspiration to build a strong country.
Soldiers practice for the political and artistic program "The Path of History"
The highlight of the series of key programs is the political art program "The Historical Path", broadcast live at 8:10 p.m. on December 21, 2024 on VTV1 channel.
With 3 chapters: The Road to Independence, The Road to Unification and The Road to a New Era, the program brings MVs, art performances, animations, reports, and conversations; thereby depicting the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing of the heroic army.
"The historical path" features the character of the little girl Hong, based on the image of a real character in the memoir "From the people" by General Vo Nguyen Giap; live performances and scenes: The first battle must be won, recreating the first battle; Wherever there is an enemy, we will go with the heroic atmosphere of the Dien Bien Phu victory; The heroic song on the sea and the sea route of the unnumbered train; The order of the heart depicts the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers sharing the hardships with the people in peacetime.
Participating in the program are artists: People's Artist Quang Tho, People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Pham Thu Ha, Duc Tuan, Thu Thuy and choirs.
In addition, VTV1 also broadcasts many documentaries on the military, exploiting many different approaches. Among them, the film “Father and Son Soldier” stands out. Through the memories and stories of military families, the film sketches a picture of Vietnam’s military history from 1944-2024. The story of the “Father and Son Soldier” families is a symbol of a large family – the Vietnamese national family with a heroic tradition of patriotism.
Program "7 green notes"
On the same topic, VTV5 channel broadcasts the documentary “Living in the hearts of the people” in the ethnic language. Meanwhile, VTV8 channel sends to the audience a series of documentaries: “Truong Son in the mind”, “Wounds that are hard to heal”, “Binh Gia Victory”, “One River” and “The Day of Return” along with the art program “Truong Son Dong calls Truong Son Tay - The sky of bomb craters” during this time.
In order to bring rich and attractive experiences, Vietnam Television also broadcast the movie "Red Dawn" about female drivers on the Truong Son route; the TV series "Space of Time" about Uncle Ho's soldiers in wartime and peacetime.
The movie Red Dawn was also broadcast on VTV on this occasion.
In addition, many interesting programs and game shows about and for soldiers have been invested in and broadcast on channels such as the program "7 green notes", "Military zone 1", "X-show", "Song by the hammock", talk show "Wonderful marriage"...
Vietnam Television also carries out its own projects on digital platforms such as "Glory of the Heroic Vietnam People's Army" including the series "Heroes of the 20th Century".
VTV also organized a drawing contest called “I love the soldier” which attracted a large number of children to participate. 80 selected paintings will appear with 100 children in the performance “I love the soldier” in the program “The historical path”…/.
