The HoSE index opened in positive territory, but not significantly below the reference level. After 10 am, a stronger influx of new capital helped the VN-Index rise to nearly 1,291.5 points in just 20 minutes, an increase of almost 12 points compared to yesterday's closing price. The index remained around this level throughout the morning.
In the afternoon, the HoSE index gradually declined as selling pressure emerged. Around 2:15 PM, the market experienced a period of volatility, pulling the index below the reference level. However, the decline did not last long before quickly turning green again.
The VN-Index closed at 1,281.2 points, up approximately 1.36 points from yesterday. The stock market was mixed, with 215 stocks declining and 211 rising. However, the difference between the two groups was not significant.

In addition, stocks such as VPB, CTG, BID, HDB, and TPB also rose by over 1%. Of the top 10 stocks contributing positively to the VN-Index, six were from the banking sector: BID, MBB, VCB, CTG, VPB, and HDB.
In addition, several blue-chip stocks also supported the market's accumulation of points. After several correction sessions,FPT regained its positive momentum with a 1% increase. High-liquidity stocks such as SSI, TCM, and NLG also performed quite positively.
Liquidity on the HoSE exchange improved by nearly 2,200 billion VND today, reaching approximately 16,400 billion VND. Foreign investors continued to be net sellers, but the value decreased sharply to around 235 billion VND, the lowest level in the past two weeks.
The stock market has been fluctuating around the 1,280-point mark for an extended period. Vietcombank Securities (VCBS) recommends maintaining a calm demeanor and consolidating portfolios with stocks considered promising. Simultaneously, investors should maintain a portfolio allocation of 50-60% to mitigate potential short-term risks.
