From more than 4,800 junior high school students and nearly 6,000 high school students in Ho Chi Minh City who submitted photos online to participate in the preliminary round of the Tuoi Xanh Photo Contest, the organizing committee has just selected 100 junior high school students and 100 high school students for the final round.
In the final round, students will create live photos, according to the theme announced by the organizers.
This year, the final round will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Contestants will be divided into groups to travel on the King Yacht, exploring the beauty of the Saigon River at sunset.
The cruise will follow the route Bach Dang wharf - Thu Ngu flagpole - Nha Rong wharf - Cruise passenger port - Tan Thuan port - Ben Nghe port - Bach Dang high-speed boat wharf.
From 3:10 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., junior high school students take the exam. From 4:40 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., it is the turn of high school students to take their exam.
Each contestant will compose an independent photo, capturing beautiful moments on the cruise. After completing the test on the cruise ship, the contestant will choose 10 photos to save on a memory card and submit to the organizers.
To best prepare for the final round, the organizers note that finalists must wear school uniforms and prepare their own memory cards and photography equipment (cameras, fully charged batteries, etc.).
The Tuoi Xanh photo contest for the 2023-2024 school year is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in collaboration with Tuoi Tre newspaper, Phuong Nam Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company and Nikon Vietnam (Viet Hong Import-Export Joint Stock Company).
