"Some information that self-driving tours between Mong Cai City (Quang Ninh) and Dongxing City (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China) will begin in early November is incorrect," said Mr. Tuan.

According to Mr. Tuan, up to now, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just approved a pilot plan to manage Chinese self-driving tourist vehicles entering Mong Cai City, Ha Long City (Quang Ninh) and coordinate the management of Vietnamese self-driving tourist vehicles entering China through Mong Cai international border gate.

Based on the approval of the above pilot plan by the Government and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, up to now, the People's Committee of Mong Cai city has basically completed the conditions to welcome guests by this type of self-driving tourist car.

As Thanh Nien reported, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province recently agreed to reopen self-driving tourist cars for Chinese tourists to Mong Cai and Ha Long; as well as self-driving tourist cars for Vietnamese tourists to China through Mong Cai international border gate.
