Today, December 25, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung periodically received citizens in December 2023. Attending the citizen reception were leaders of departments and branches; leaders of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities where citizens came to make recommendations and feedback.

At the meeting, 21 citizens related to 18 cases submitted petitions to the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee, including 4 cases of first-time petitions, 12 cases of repeated petitions, and 2 cases of mass petitions. The petitions were mainly related to land, such as petitions for granting land use right certificates; additional land allocation; opening common paths between land plots; construction works affecting land and property of households; compensation for site clearance not in accordance with regulations... and 1 petition related to policy settlement.
To resolve the petitions and ensure citizens' rights, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung requested departments, branches and localities to report in detail the content of the case, and at the same time direct the direction to thoroughly handle each specific case and assign tasks to each relevant unit and locality within the specified time limit.
The cases that were directed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung to be resolved thoroughly, ensuring citizens' rights, include petitions from citizens: Nguyen Thi Hong Tien, in Quarter 7, Ward 3, Dong Ha City; Phan Van Linh, in 92 Le Duan, Ward 1, Dong Ha City; Hoang Thi Tan and Hong Thi Thuy, in Quarter 3, An Don Ward, Quang Tri Town; Nguyen Thi Lap, in Quarter 3, Ward 1, Quang Tri Town; Tran Thi Vien, in Village 8, Trieu Van Commune, Trieu Phong District.
With the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung and the commitment of the departments, branches and localities, citizens expressed their trust and excitement when their rights were taken care of by the provincial leaders and departments, branches and committed to handling them thoroughly.
In addition, for cases that are not under the jurisdiction of local authorities, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung has recorded and discussed them again, and assigned the Department of Justice to direct the Legal Aid Center to guide the chief justice and support citizens in the process of implementing petitions.
