At the citizen reception session, 16 citizens involved in 14 cases submitted petitions to the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee.

The recommendations mainly focus on the land sector such as: recommendations on state management of land at local levels, granting land use right certificates, additional land allocation, resolving land disputes, compensation and support for site clearance; resolving policies for people with revolutionary contributions.

Of the 14 petitions, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a document refusing to receive citizens in 2 cases; 2 petitions are being submitted for the first time; 10 petitions are being reviewed and inspected by local authorities and are within the time limit for settlement according to the law.

At the citizen reception session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung acknowledged the recommendations and requested departments, branches and localities to report in detail the cases and the handling process. He noted that functional agencies and local authorities, in the process of handling recommendations, need to carefully study legal regulations, handle them responsibly, and combine field inspections to ensure citizens' rights.

During the process of resolving petitions, if there are any problems, legal conflicts, or beyond the authority, a written report must be promptly sent to the Provincial People's Committee for guidance and direction on handling.

Propose that the Department of Justice direct the Legal Aid Center to support citizens in the process of making legal petitions.
