This morning, February 26, Vinh Linh district solemnly held the 2024 military enlistment ceremony. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council (NVQS) Vo Van Hung attended, presented flowers to congratulate and encourage the new recruits to join the army. Major General Huynh Van Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Public Security also attended.

In 2024, Vinh Linh district has 191 young men joining the army. Of these, 147 new recruits will join the people's army units, including: Infantry Regiment 842, Provincial Military Command; Provincial Border Guard Command; Military School of Military Region 4; Infantry Special Forces Brigade 198, Special Forces Corps and 44 new recruits joining the people's police service. These are new recruits examined, selected by the District Military Service Council and meeting the required conditions.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Vinh Linh District People's Committee Thai Van Thanh hoped that citizens who are going to join the army will continue to promote the heroic tradition of Vinh Linh, compete to train well, actively strive, cultivate and practice to constantly progress and mature in all aspects, and successfully complete their tasks.
Propose that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and organizations do a good job of propaganda, raising awareness of the whole society about the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, building an increasingly solid national defense posture associated with a people's security posture. At the same time, strengthen education on traditions and foster revolutionary ideals for the younger generation; effectively implement the military rear policy.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, the new recruits expressed their determination to join the army. They affirmed that they would uphold the heroic tradition of the People's Army and the People's Police, be absolutely loyal to the Communist Party of Vietnam, and be determined to study, train, and be ready to fight and sacrifice for the Fatherland.
