On the morning of November 17, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited Hamlet 1, Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District to celebrate the Great Solidarity Day with the people and receive the hamlet that met the standards: "Bright - green - clean - beautiful".
Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dang Thanh Tung - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Nam Dan district.
"BRIGHT - GREEN - CLEAN - BEAUTIFUL" STANDARD NEIGHBORHOOD
Hamlet 1 was merged from the old hamlets 1 and 2 of Nam Giang commune, with 264 households and 1,257 people. Hamlet 1's Party cell has 36 party members. Hamlet 1 was chosen by Nam Giang commune to be built as a model in the movement to build a new model rural area and build a "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" hamlet.
Mr. Tran Huu Hung - Party Cell Secretary, Hamlet 1 Chief happily said that in 2021, the people in the hamlet contributed 198 million VND to install a public lighting system on all roads with a length of 6.7km. Flower beds and ornamental plants are arranged on main roads and the grounds of the cultural house, ensuring aesthetics.
Up to now, 100% of households in the hamlet have access to clean and hygienic water. The wastewater treatment system of households and the hamlet's drainage ditches have been built synchronously, ensuring environmental hygiene. Many households in the hamlet have voluntarily donated land to open roads, contributing more than 5 billion VND to invest in building a spacious and airy rural traffic system.
The hamlet's cultural house was invested in and built according to the model of a typical provincial cultural hamlet with a total cost of nearly 4 billion VND. Cultural institutions were invested in synchronously and modernly, serving the common activities and physical education and sports movements of the people.
Hamlet 1 has established the following clubs: Folk song club, Volleyball club, Folk dance club, Happy family club and they are operating very effectively.
The people in the hamlet actively build a cultural life in the community, practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals. The people unite, share, and help each other overcome hardships and difficulties in life. In the past 3 years, the Party Committee and the Hamlet Front Committee have mobilized support for 4 households facing sudden difficulties with a total amount of more than 110 million VND.
The hamlet's self-governing groups operate uniformly and effectively. Conflicts among the people are promptly resolved, preventing complicated incidents from occurring. Security, order, and political security are ensured.
STRIVE TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF NEW RURAL AREA
Speaking and sharing with the people of Hamlet 1, Nam Giang Commune, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung expressed his joy and excitement when joining the working delegation of the province and Nam Dan District to attend the National Great Unity Day with the people and receive the "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" hamlet standard.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that organizing the National Great Unity Day is a very meaningful activity to arouse, create cohesion, and strengthen the national great unity bloc, thereby contributing to the implementation of the socio-economic development goals, building cultural life, and promoting the fine traditions of the Fatherland Front.
Through listening to the report and observing the reality, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung felt the excited and joyful atmosphere of the people; at the same time expressed his joy at the achievements of Hamlet 1, Nam Giang Commune in the past time.
As a Party cell, the Front Work Committee has been active in leading and mobilizing people to achieve the goals of building the economic and social life of the hamlet. Over 90% of the hamlet's households have achieved the title of cultural family, the hamlet has been recognized as a cultural unit, and has successfully organized movements.
Although the activities of self-governing groups are difficult, they have achieved positive results, especially mobilizing people to actively participate in contributing to infrastructure construction, thereby helping the hamlet achieve the standard of "Bright - green - clean - beautiful".
On the other hand, the people in the hamlet have shown concern and shared with each other, especially in mobilizing and supporting families in difficulty. The activities of the Women's Union, Farmers' Union, and Veterans' Union are very active. The environment, security and order are very peaceful. Hopefully, the model of hamlet 1 will be replicated in Nam Giang commune and Nam Dan district.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung acknowledged, commended, highly appreciated and congratulated the results that the people of Hamlet 1, Nam Giang Commune have achieved in the past time.
In the coming time, the head of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the people and Party Committees, Executive Committees, and Front Committees of hamlets will promote the achieved results, overcome difficulties, continue to achieve new and higher goals, and strive to build a smart and exemplary new rural model.
Besides, I hope that the people in the village will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and great solidarity to achieve the set goals, especially building economic and cultural life, ensuring that people have a good, happy and quality life; promoting the spirit of mutual love, mutual support and care for each other, especially in times of hardship and difficulty.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also hopes that political organizations and unions at the grassroots level will rally the masses to achieve local goals. Leaders of Nam Dan district and Nam Giang commune will continue to lead, direct and support Hamlet 1 to implement and achieve the set goals.
At the Great Unity Day, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung presented gifts to Hamlet 1, poor households, and disadvantaged students in the hamlet. Nam Dan District leaders also presented gifts and awarded a certificate to Hamlet 1 for meeting the "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" standards.
