The DVOR/DME Navigation Tower item, the implementation progress basically ensures the overall progress of the project... There are still some items behind schedule, such as: Air traffic control station, construction of columns, walls of air traffic towers is 6 days behind schedule and construction of guard house is 1 month behind schedule compared to the approved schedule. The construction of security fence phase II is behind schedule.
For the 4 projects under the responsibility of the locality, progress is behind schedule. Specifically, the airport bypass project connecting groups 1, 2 and 8 of Thanh Truong ward, Dien Bien Phu city, has completed site clearance; the progress has reached 76% of the volume ; expected to be completed before November 15, 2023. The airport bypass project connecting the road to Thanh Hung commune and Thanh Luong commune, Dien Bien district, currently has 7/56 households and organizations that have not yet handed over the site with an area of over 2,082m 2 . The cumulative value of completed volume has reached 60% , expected to complete site clearance before September 30 and complete before November 30. The intra-field road and drainage canal project, currently has 7/80 households and organizations that have not yet handed over the site with an area of nearly 777m 2 ; Up to now, 80/235m of drainage canal has been completed ; expected to be completed before November 30. For the road connecting to DVOR/DME navigation station, Dien Bien Phu City People's Committee has issued a notice of land recovery and made a plan; expected to be appraised and approved before October 25.

Regarding the airport bypass project connecting Group 1, 2 and Group 8 of Thanh Truong Ward, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Dien Bien Phu City to focus on thoroughly handling construction incidents (slope landslides, subsidence, box culverts damaged by floods), ensuring the handover of the site to ACV before September 30, 2023. During the road restitution construction process, measures must be taken to guide and notify people participating in traffic to ensure safety. Urgently move the marker of Ban Keo hill relic out of the project area to avoid misunderstandings among people. The airport bypass project connecting the road to Thanh Hung commune and Thanh Luong commune, Dien Bien district, currently has 6 households involved in resettlement arrangements, requiring Dien Bien district to focus on handling and handing over the site for construction. Arrange resettlement for households subject to resettlement and affected households, with priority given to households subject to resettlement in Pom La area, Thanh Xuong commune. Strive to complete the project in 2023. The project of internal roads and drainage canals (running along the airport to the road to Thanh Luong), requesting Dien Bien Phu city to focus on resolving the site clearance for 6 households; Dien Bien district to focus on resolving the site clearance for 42 households. The project of the road connecting to the DVOR/DME navigation station, requiring the city to urgently complete the land acquisition, plan, appraisal and approval. For the additional area due to the adjustment of the airport planning ( 400m2 ), Dien Bien Phu City and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment completed the procedures for land allocation to the airport.
