On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1947-2024), on July 23, Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited, presented gifts, and expressed gratitude to mothers of martyrs, war invalids and relatives of martyrs in Mong Cai City. Accompanying him were representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the province and Mong Cai City.

Visiting mother Vi Thi Nguyet (95 years old, residing in village 9, Hai Xuan commune), mother of martyr Chu Van Ke, comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed his deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation for the silent but immense sacrifices of mother Vi Thi Nguyet and her family for the cause of protecting and building the Fatherland. The heroic sacrifice of martyr Chu Van Ke, son of mother Nguyet, and tens of thousands of comrades helped the country gain independence, freedom, prosperity and happiness.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee kindly asked about and wished mother Vi Thi Nguyet good health, and encouraged her children and grandchildren to promote the family's revolutionary tradition to actively compete in studying, working, and producing, contributing to building Mong Cai in particular and Quang Ninh in general to become increasingly rich, civilized, and happy.

Visiting and presenting gifts to Mr. Mac Quang That, a 4/4 class war invalid with a 21% disability, a relative of a martyr (residing in Zone 2, Tran Phu Ward), Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions and sacrifices of war invalid Mac Quang That as well as the heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers and families with meritorious services to the revolution, those who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones for the independence and peace of the country and people.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that war invalid Mac Quang That will continue to strive to overcome the pain of his injuries, always demonstrate the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively work and produce, and be a shining example of strong will, perseverance, and noble ideals for the younger generation to follow.

Representatives of families of martyrs and war invalids expressed their joy and excitement at receiving the attention of the Party and authorities at all levels. At the same time, they affirmed that they will always be exemplary, actively participate in local movements, educate their children and grandchildren to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws, take care of economic development, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous and civilized homeland.
