Shop owner causes shudders with colorful drinks in paint buckets and dirty plastic cups

Recently, a clip was circulated on Facebook showing a person standing behind a mobile beverage cart, filling a drink from a large barrel into small cups.

Under the car are two large buckets, which are painted barrels, containing this red and yellow drink, with many "toppings" (side dishes) of mixed white and black grains.

The clip recorded the moment the shop owner quickly took a plastic cup from a bucket next to him, with some of the red liquid with tapioca pearls still at the bottom (which is believed to have been drunk by the previous customer, and was left over). This person quickly turned the cup upside down, poured out the water and the remaining tapioca pearls before scooping more tea into these plastic cups.

The tea cups are then displayed "pretty" on the counter.

The counter was then filled with a row of red and yellow cups. On the side of the beverage cart was a sign that read "peach tea - strawberry tea".

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Ms. N., the person who filmed the clip, said that she went to see a local festival in Hiep Hoa, Bac Giang on the morning of September 2. While standing in the area next to the water counter, she happened to see colorful drinks contained in paint cans.

Furthermore, she also saw that the seller used used plastic cups to make new cups of water. Therefore, Ms. N. used her phone to record the scene to warn people about the risk of food hygiene and safety when there are irresponsible and unethical business people like that.

"This is a mobile water stall. We don't know who the seller is. They must be selling water because there's a festival," Ms. N. shared.

At the time of filming the video , she said people were still gathered to watch the performance at the camp, only a few people passed by the water counter area.

"I didn't post the clip to expose the problem. I don't judge all shops. I just want to warn people going to the festival to find clean, reputable shops to buy water for use," said Ms. N.

Verification shows that the video was recorded at a mobile cafe in Bac Ly town, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province.

The leaders of Bac Ly town People's Committee affirmed that they will verify more information reflected by the people and strengthen management activities in the area.
