Ngo Lan Huong - owner of the hit "Di giua troi ruc ro" said she used to stumble, feel confused and sometimes lose herself when standing on stage.
On November 15, the launching event of the show Blue bus took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The guest list included prominent young names in the music industry. Singer Ngo Lan Huong, rapper Mai Am Nhac, MC Bui Quang Huy, musician Do Hieu played the role of mentor. Meanwhile, singer Hoang Yen Chibi, Lam Bao Ngoc... were guests of the Dream show - part of the program.
Ngo Lan Huong was trembling and bewildered because it was her first time sitting in the advisory chair. When meeting the contestants, she saw herself in the early stages of her career. The singer shared that she had stumbled, felt confused and doubted herself before achieving her current mark. She hopes to add fresh energy to the young faces.
“After a period of time working in the arts, there were moments when I lost myself, when I stood on stage I no longer felt the excitement. However, when interacting with young people, I found that positive emotion again,” said Ngo Lan Huong.
Singer-rapper Mai Am Nhac hopes that her energy and experience will help contestants become more confident. The singer joked that she signed up for many programs to learn, so she has long since “lost the nerve to be embarrassed.”
“I also learned a lot from everyone and hope each of you will shine in your own direction,” she added.
This is a program that combines a music competition with an experiential reality TV show. First is the audition round to select 10 talented trainees and together they start a journey across Ho Chi Minh City for 2 months.
Each stop, the show will bring a new challenge, from vocal rehearsals to performance, skills and even composition. Each contestant must strive, practice and explore to complete the task. Accompanying the contestants are many famous guest artists.
“The program is designed specifically for Gen Z youth who are passionate about music. They are passionate and talented, but easily lost in the competitive music market. We hope that through diverse challenges and rich content, the trainees and the audience will understand more about the art world,” the program representative shared.
