The Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) - West Hanoi Branch has just announced the selection of an organization to auction the debt of Vietnam Renewable Energy Company Limited located at 6th floor, building 9, Lang Ha, Thanh Cong ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.
This is a debt under the credit agreement of 2008 and 2014; Guarantee Agreement dated October 15, 2009 and the attached contract appendices.
According to Agribank, the total value of the debt as of November 30, 2023 is converted to more than VND 1,205 billion. Of which, the principal balance is nearly VND 729 billion; the outstanding interest, overdue interest, and provisional late payment interest is more than VND 462 billion; and the unpaid guarantee fee is VND 13.9 billion.
The collateral for this debt is the entire construction of the Wind Power Plant 1 - Binh Thuan. The starting auction value for the debt of Vietnam Renewable Energy is more than 1,205 billion VND - equal to the debt value as of November 30. The sale price does not include taxes, fees, charges and other financial obligations payable according to regulations).
Vietnam Renewable Energy One Member Co., Ltd., was established in 2006 with the main business lines of investment, construction, operation, production and business, with Mr. Pham Van Minh as Chairman of the Board of Directors - and legal representative.
Regarding Phong Dien 1 Wind Power Plant, this is the first wind power project in Vietnam invested by Vietnam Renewable Energy with a total capital of 2,000 billion VND, starting to generate electricity in 2009.
Phase 1 of the project has been completed and put into operation, including 20 wind turbines with a total capacity of 30 MW. Each wind turbine is nearly 100m high, the blade diameter is 77m, the total weight of the turbine and wind turbine is about 255 tons .
