Enjoying local specialties while admiring Nha Trang Bay.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc, along with his family of six from Ho Chi Minh City, traveled to Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa province) for a vacation, choosing to stay at a hotel on Tran Phu Street. The 32-year-old man shared that bringing his young children and parents to the same tourist spot late at night in Nha Trang was "very difficult."
Upon learning about the Nha Trang night market on Pham Van Dong Street, which stays open until midnight and sells local specialties and beverages, he took his whole family there to visit and shop, and everyone agreed. “Sitting at the night market, the whole family enjoying lobster and admiring Nha Trang Bay is a very pleasant experience. The space is airy, cool, and the prices are reasonable,” Mr. Phuoc commented.

Numerous tourists visit and shop at Nha Trang night market.
Like Mr. Phuoc, Ms. Thanh Lam, 34 years old, believes that after 11 PM, Nha Trang doesn't have many nighttime tourist services, only a few bars, nightclubs, and a handful of food and beverage establishments.
"Since the night market opened, my husband and I have been strolling around and enjoying famous local specialties like sea grapes, lobster, and various types of snails... it's been very enjoyable," said Ms. Thanh Lam.
From 6 PM daily, locals and tourists from many places flock to Nha Trang Night Market - Tran Phu Bridge Park. This is the first night market in Nha Trang City that stays open until midnight, a pilot program implemented by the local government since February 2024.
The night market has 65 stalls, mainly selling seafood, local specialties, fast food and beverages, some bird's nest products, OCOP products, handicrafts, souvenirs, etc. The stalls are designed in the form of colorful pushcarts, which can be folded up to return the public space of the park for people and tourists to enjoy during the day.

From the night market, visitors can admire Nha Trang Bay sparkling under a magical sea of lights.

Mr. Huynh Tan Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Khanh Hoa province, shared that the night market was established to support businesses and production and trading establishments in developing their product consumption markets; and to meet the needs of consumers who come to the locality for sightseeing and shopping.
Before the Tran Phu Bridge Park night market opened, Nha Trang City had one existing night market and several other night shopping areas, but they closed at 11 PM, were not large enough in scale, and the goods were not unique, mainly selling souvenirs and clothes, etc.
After six months of operation, the night market at Tran Phu Bridge Park has received very positive feedback from vendors regarding the number of visitors and recreational activities.

The food court at the night market is spacious, making it easy for visitors to enjoy delicious food.
Ms. Le Thi Thuong, the owner of a seafood stall at the night market, said that on weekends or holidays, the night market is so crowded that there aren't enough seats for customers.
“The location of the night market is very convenient, with many locals and domestic and international tourists passing through. Businesses always comply with regulations and work together to develop the image of Nha Trang night market as a tourist-friendly destination,” Ms. Thuong said. The spacious dining area at the night market allows locals and tourists to fully enjoy delicious food. At the night market, tourists can also gaze at the sparkling Nha Trang city under the magical lights.
The Nha Trang Night Market - Tran Phu Bridge Park is being piloted by the local government from now until 2025, linked to the Khánh Hòa province's night-time economic development plan until 2030. According to this plan, Nha Trang City is selected as the key development area, with the city center piloting pedestrian streets; "interactive night markets," "night food avenues," "experiential food streets," artistic lighting projects, night shopping areas, 24/7 convenience stores, etc.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, night markets and night food streets are typical tourism products that contribute to the province's night economy.
Developing the night-time economy in Khanh Hoa aligns with the province's tourism development orientation, which emphasizes a dynamic, safe, friendly, and civilized image, while simultaneously preserving traditional cultural values and diversifying tourism products and services to maximize the province's potential and strengths.
By the end of 2024, Khanh Hoa province is expected to pilot themed night markets at two locations in Nha Trang City: a section of the sidewalk on Xom Con Street and the Hon Mot area. The night market activities will be organized sequentially, focusing on specific themes such as a food night market and an agricultural product night market.
