This evening universities begin to announce admission scores.

At around 5:00 p.m. on August 22, the Ministry of Education and Training will end the virtual screening on the general admission system. After the virtual screening ends, universities can announce the benchmark scores for candidates.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, at about 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, August 22, the virtual filtering process on the general admission system of the management agency will be completed. After this time, universities can start announcing admission scores for candidates.

Many universities are expected to announce their admission scores this evening, such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hung Vuong University, Thai Nguyen University, University of Commerce, etc.

The announcement of the schools' benchmark scores was two days later than originally planned (on the afternoon of August 20) because the Ministry of Education and Training increased the virtual filtering time.

Explaining the reason, a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that this adjustment is because in 2023, candidates only have to register for admission by major (not by combination and admission method), the general admission support system is therefore provided with more data sources to support schools in using many admission methods in the first round. Therefore, schools need more time than expected to complete the admission process.

The deadline for schools to announce admission scores is 5:00 p.m. on August 24.
