This afternoon (October 24), the National Assembly will vote to approve the list of people to be given a vote of confidence.

The results of the vote of confidence will be made public.

Speaking to the press about the vote of confidence at the 6th Session, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee, said that the National Assembly will spend 1.5 days on this work.

The National Assembly will vote on 44/49 positions. All voting results will be made public. The National Assembly Office will have an official announcement on the voting results.

The representative of the Delegation Working Committee said that they have received all reports and asset declarations of those involved in the vote of confidence. The reports were sent 20 days in advance as required and have now been sent in full to the National Assembly delegates. At the meeting, there will be a discussion session in the delegation for delegates to give their opinions on the reports and asset declarations.

Regarding the reason for taking a vote of confidence at the beginning of the session instead of after the question and answer session, Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh said that taking the vote is to evaluate from the beginning of the term, so taking a vote of confidence at the beginning of the session is appropriate.

The 15th National Assembly has so far elected and approved 50 positions. Currently, 49 positions are subject to a vote of confidence. However, some positions will not be subject to a vote of confidence, including retired positions elected in 2023.
