Today, the National Assembly approved the list of people to be voted on for confidence.

In the morning, the National Assembly discussed in groups: Assessment of the results of the implementation of the 2023 socio-economic development plan; the expected socio-economic development plan for 2024; the implementation of the state budget in 2023, the state budget estimate, the central budget allocation plan for 2024 (including the 3-year state financial and budget plan for 2024-2026; the implementation of the state budget public investment plan in 2023, the expected state budget public investment plan in 2024; the implementation of the 2023 financial plan, the expected 2024 financial plan of the extra-budgetary state financial funds managed by the central government; the addition of the regular expenditure estimates of the state budget in 2023 for ministries, central agencies, and localities).

The National Assembly also discussed in groups the mid-term assessment of the implementation of the plans: Socio-economic development in 2021-2025; economic restructuring in the 2021-2025 period; medium-term public investment in the 2021-2025 period; national finance and borrowing and repayment of 5-year public debt in the 2021-2025 period; results of the implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-economic Recovery and Development Program; the Government's report on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city; results of the review of the system of legal documents according to the provisions of Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 on the fifth session of the 15th National Assembly.

In the afternoon, after the Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security, Le Tan Toi, presented a report on explanation, acceptance, and revision, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of contents with different opinions on the draft Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones. During the discussion, the presenting agency and the agency in charge of verification coordinated to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

At the end of the working day, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh presented a report on the proposed list of people to be voted on. The National Assembly voted to approve the list of people to be voted on using the electronic voting system.
