In recent days, the Youth Union of Ba Vi District Police (Hanoi City) has coordinated with monks, nuns, Buddhists of Dong Cac Pagoda (Ba Vi District, Hanoi) and philanthropists to join hands to make moon cakes, lanterns... to contribute to encouraging and sharing with children affected by storm No. 3.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3 and the post-storm circulation, floodwaters rose, causing serious flooding in some communes in Ba Vi district. With the desire to bring local children a meaningful full moon season, the Youth Union of Ba Vi District Police coordinated with relevant units, organizations and individuals to present 150 gifts to children in flood-affected areas.

Each gift set includes moon cakes, star lanterns, necessities and books. These are all gifts made and prepared by the young police officers of Ba Vi district, monks, Buddhists of Dong Cac pagoda and benefactors to spread the warm and family-friendly atmosphere of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.
Taking place at a "special" time and circumstance, although not organized in a lively and methodical manner, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival for children in Ba Vi district still retains its meaning as a festival of love and sharing.
