(Dan Tri) - We will have to wait until 2026 to be able to admire the next Super Beaver Moon.
On the night of November 15 and early morning of November 16, the supermoon Beaver appeared in the sky of Vietnam. This is the last supermoon to appear in 2024.
Many astronomy enthusiasts across the country witnessed the supermoon and captured stunning photos.
The Super Beaver Moon can be observed across Vietnam, in cloudless conditions.
This is the last supermoon of the year, occurring when our natural satellite is closest to Earth, as the distance between our planet and the Moon is not fixed, on average ranging from 363,300km to 405,500km.

During this phase, the Moon can appear up to 14% larger than a normal full moon, although it's not enough to make a big difference to the naked eye, but the Super Beaver Moon will appear brighter.
The next full moon that will not be considered a supermoon will occur on December 15.

To help differentiate them, all full moons have a nickname. According to StarWalk, Native Americans used to name full moons based on the specific characteristics of each month.
There are two theories about the origin of the name Beaver. First, in November, beavers prepare for the cold winter by building nests to hibernate and store food.
Another origin for the name is that November is the time when hunters set traps to collect their fur. The next Super Beaver Moon can be seen on November 26, 2026.
