"Vietnam's biggest squid roll" will appear at the beer festival in Ha Long on April 30

Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Son said he will make the biggest squid roll in Vietnam during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

On April 8, at the regular press conference of the first quarter, leaders of Ha Long City People's Committee and Quang Ninh Department of Tourism informed about activities during the April 30 and May 1 holidays and the upcoming Ha Long Carnival 2024 event.

Accordingly, the Ha Long Carnival 2024 program with the theme "Lighting up with Wonders" chaired by the Ha Long City People's Committee, with the coordination of departments, branches, and support of corporations, service and tourism businesses will be held from 8:10 p.m. on April 28.

Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Son said that for the first time, Ha Long Carnival has a new form, performing and parading on the sea, on the sandbank of Ha Long Bay with musical art elements, harmoniously combining history and culture to highlight the world natural heritage of Ha Long Bay at night.

The performance stage harmoniously combines onshore and at sea, with hundreds of ships and boats mobilized to participate in the parade.

Furthermore, the program also applies the most modern drone light, fireworks, mapping, LED, sound and light technology.

Previously, 2,024 flycams appeared in the New Year light show in the sky of Hanoi.

In addition, during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Quang Ninh also organized 11 different cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities starting from April 20.

The most prominent of these is the opening of the Bai Chay walking and culinary street, along with the beer and squid cake festival. At this festival, visitors and locals will witness the making of the largest squid cake in Vietnam to set a record.
