Chicilon Media donates $31,500 to help with heart surgery for 200 Vietnamese children

On November 23, the fundraising gala "Scar of Life 11" with the theme "Shape of Dreams" took place in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting nearly 300 guests including famous donors, businessmen and artists. The event was a great success when it raised 300,000 USD, helping 200 more children with congenital heart disease to receive surgery, bringing the total number of children supported through the project to nearly 3,000 over the past decade.

At the event, Chicilon Media contributed 31,500 USD, including 19,500 USD from the company's auction activities and 12,000 USD from the personal contribution of Mr. Guo Zhi Feng - Chairman of the Board of Directors. CEO of Chicilon Media also shared: " The happy smiles of the children are a great motivation for us to continue accompanying the program. More than just a financial contribution, Chicilon Media wants to spread the spirit of social responsibility and inspire the business community to join hands for children ."

After more than 5 years of accompanying the project “Scars of Life”, Chicilon Media continues to affirm its social responsibility to the community through meaningful volunteer activities. In Vietnam, each year, approximately 15,000 children are born with congenital heart disease. About half of children with congenital heart disease will need surgery or intervention. Without treatment, 85% of them will have difficulty making it past adolescence. In this situation, fundraising activities such as “Scars of Life” have made important contributions, bringing hope and life chances to thousands of children in Vietnam.

“Scars of Life” is not only a charity program, but also a symbol of solidarity and love spreading in society, where everyone joins hands for the goal of helping children with heart disease have a healthier life.
